About‎ > ‎

Mom's, you want to spend time playing with the kids, but you find that after a short while you get bored and you're escaping the scene.   Getting down to your child's level and playing will be one of your child's most special memories.  It's great for their development as well! (Think speech, language, cognition, social skills, motor skills, etc)

As a therapist, I'm constantly purchasing new toys and games for clients so that they enjoy sessions.  More importantly, I buy new stuff to keep it fun for ME! And when it's fun for me, it's fun for the child.

I find that I have to keep this important rule in mind as a mom. So treat your kids to a new toy that your'e excited to play with.  And make a habit of buying something new as often as you need, to keep yourself having fun during playtime with your kids!

Starfall.com, Where children have fun learning to read!I've recently chanced upon starfall.com, and I think it's fantastic.  It's bright, colorful, clear and repetitive enough without the graphics being overwhelming or distracting.
It takes the pressure off mom to engage your child with fabulous materials that don't compete with your computer or tablet.

To all those Jewish moms, who are looking for a great Mommy and Me that your child can enjoy from the comfort of home, look no further! Robin's Nest is the place to go for a musical, fun, and interactive session that your child will love! Graphics aren't distracting, and Robin really engages your child in joint activity.

Ten years ago, Robin opened her own business, “Robin's Nest”- music and movement classes for mothers and their little ones, using Hebrew songs, themes for the Jewish holidays and more. “Robin's Nest” became an instant success within the wider Melbourne Jewish community, and Robin is lovingly known throughout the community as “Morah Robin”.

Bells on their feet

These are fun for kids to hold onto and shake, wear around their wrist, or wear on their ankle.
It's great for mom to keep track of kids in a public area.  Just listen for the bells!
